I finally got clothes on my avatar, but I still can't get her on my blog.

I got some pictures posted on Flickr; I had also put some on for DOB.

I've been working alone, but I have asked a question or two.

I really think artists should have their work protected, but then again I don't download music. I do think, though, that Steve Jobs makes a good point about having the music available without DRM because the majority of music is on CDs and is not DRM protected.

I finally found my old blog. Here's hoping nothing happens to my favorites where I have it stored!

I expect to become more comfortable with blogs and blogging.

I love the fund raising idea of having a mini golf course! I wonder if OCLS would do that. It would probably have to be at Main, since branches are so much smaller - but hey, maybe 9 holes at a branch?

I don't see my posts for this year on the first page. They are on the left side of this page.

Any way, the products and information out there on this topic is amazing. I can't do/afford the Nike stuff, but I like the pedometer idea. I may try to find one and get started on that. We used to have one. - I can put one on the screen and work along with it - if I can see the screen well enough. The audio instructions are probably what I'll use. Right now I am going to the gymj 3 days per week per doctor's prescription for 30 minute workouts on the elliptical machine, so I may not get much more exercise in - except maybe using the pedometer.

Florida has joined 5 other states that are participating with software to make state information able to be indexed by search engines such as Google. Does this compromise our privacy?

I do internet searches and make use of OCLS databases to find information. As a leader in technolgy in libraries, OCLS will not doubt embrace open sourcing in the future, leading the way for other libraries.

In Services, I think 3,000 is a low number for taking technology classes. If we're talking about all computer classes, Winter Garden alone averages 400 per month in attendance; that would be 4800 in a year.

If I'm reading the numbers right, less than half of the people coming in the buildings interact with a staff member. That means we've come a long way toward the self service effort that we began a few years ago. The web access is another part of that self service, too!
