library things

Wow! Those are some great library/book sites. A user could catalog their books on Gurulib. This could be very useful for small assoiations or churches with libraries - a valuable resource. I remember helping - a small bit - a church library in the past. What a great help this would have been!

Fun Stuff

I liked the trivia site, Blufr - though I was only moderately successful.

I think my favorite is Puzzle Player - and I think my husband would enjoy this one.
He's very good at Sudoku!

Flickr

I added several pictures to Flickr - one was a nice landscape of our Crepe Myrtle trees here at Winter Garden. I was familiar with Flickr due to our experience with it in DOB.

DRM

I enjoyed the article by Steve Jobs - and I see his point about most of the music being sold on CDs which do not have the DRM, so why not take it out of the digital realm?

audio books

I tried to download the audiobook at home on my work laptop. I was able to save it to my desktop, but it won't open in Media Player. I'm glad I went through the process, because it had been a long time since I had done anything in NewLibrary.

Learn 2.0

I somehow posted my comments as replies to other comments, and thanks to Tom for pointing this out.

I really like Liveplasma among the various music sites.

I saw the OCLS myspace and youtube postings for the first time! We actually have lots of stuff there, not just one entry.

I can see why kids are so fascinated with these phenomena. And the fact that TV viewing hs gone down is v-e-r-y interesting! I can see how with all that's going on on the internet with videos, etc. However, I am a diehard fan of 24 - so they will never lose me!
